- Manage a diverse portfolio of accounts spanning Malaysia and Singapore, focusing on the Pharmaceutical sector.
- Ensure achievement of budgetary targets, particularly emphasizing turnover goals.
- Drive sales growth and maintain profitable margins by effectively managing existing business relationships while actively pursuing new opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through regular visits, aiming to understand their evolving needs and preferences. Gather market intelligence and competitive insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new account opportunities to expand market reach and drive sales growth across both existing and new product lines.
- Conduct thorough market surveys to identify emerging trends and opportunities for product expansion or enhancement.
- Analyze and interpret market, product, competitor, and industry data to develop forward-looking strategies to guide business growth.
- Proactively monitor and review payment terms across the customer portfolio to ensure adherence and minimize business risks, considering cash flow implications during negotiation.
- Develop comprehensive sales development plans to optimize business objectives and achieve sales retention and growth targets.
- Conduct regular visits to key customers to promote products and services, gathering valuable feedback to inform business decisions.
- Oversee the implementation and monitoring of marketing campaigns.

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Chemical Engineering or equivalent qualification is required.
- Communication in English is a must.
- Minimum 5-10 years of progressive experience in sales / commercial roles and related technical knowledge.
- Experience in technical application or formulation of pharmaceutical product is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Able to liaise with people at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Team Player.
- Excellent time management skills in order to follow different assigned targets.
- Highly organized, hands-on, able to work well under pressure, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Sense of ownership and drive (problem solver, self-starter with a bias for prompt action and removing roadblocks, accountable to get things done in a timely manner).
