It was a beautiful sunny afternoon when we were gathered at number One Marina Boulevard. Overlooking the bay.
We were seated at round tables, there were a few new people to meet. Fellow Japanese speakers.
The presentation begins. Introduction of the PeopleSearch Japanese team was made, and we quickly moved on to hear Ms.
Yukiko Takahashi of Microsoft share her experience of working in Microsoft. A few questions were asked and she answered all
queries with finesse.
The presentation then moved onto the topic of the day “Corporate Culture.” We learned to describe culture,
understand what is corporate culture, how corporate culture is manifested and how do we identify the corporate culture
that we thrive in. It was an interesting afternoon as we took some simple quizzes and test our own understanding, we had a
few laughs as we learned along the way.
We all agree that it was a fruitful afternoon. The topic was good, the presentation was very well-done. Most of us agreed to
meet again.
